True Blood Tuesday S01E05 “Sparks Fly Out”

Posted in Uncategorized

Happy True Blood Tuesday. Prepare for more of my fascinating dog drama, as well as a surprise appearance by a kid who was supposed to be at Baba’s.

Download it here. Start it when the HBO logo and sound fade.

And if anyone can tell me what the book I’m thinking of at the end of the episode is? That would be super great if you could tell me. It’s driving me cra–TUCK EVERLASTING. GOD DAMNIT OF COURSE I REMEMBER IT NOW.

I’ve been waiting for this since you started doing these, because this was probably my favorite episode of the first season. It’s so nice having someone to snark along with me instead of just getting crappy looks from the other end of the couch.

Southerner here to respond to your tea question! In Georgia at least, the standard is sweet tea but you get people asking for “unsweet” tea, usually for dietary reasons. So probably the bar has both sweet and unsweetened tea and she has to specify just to be sure. I imagine it’s prolly similar in Louisiana, or at least it was in the more touristy New Orleans area.

    You’re thinking of Tuck Everlasting!
The family that lives forever. Definitely read it the same year we read Bridge to Terebithia.
I kept saying it back to you like you could hear me.

@Romana_Noble- I love talking during movies too, and my husband is like, “I’m trying to watch the movie!” But talking while watching is more fun!
