Do you ever have one of those moments where you think, “I should do [x] before [y] happens,” and then, before you can do anything else, [y] happens and you’re like, “Fuck you, self. Why didn’t you warn me in time?”<\/p>\n

Last night, I lost all of The Girlfriend<\/i>\u00a0and The Stranger.<\/i>\u00a0<\/div>\n

Through the help of my miracle tweeps, I was able to recover all of The Girlfriend<\/i>\u00a0and 3,000 words of The Stranger<\/i>, which had been sitting at 17k, but I’ll take what I can get!<\/div>\n

Thank you so much to everyone who talked me through this on Twitter all night long. I was up until six in the morning trying to save The Stranger, <\/i>but ultimately I had to give up. However, when you guys are reading The Girlfriend<\/i>, be sure to thank your lucky stars for Twitter user I Am The Liquor, who saved every piece of it.<\/div>\n
