Hey everybody! Just a quick update on the mad haps here in Trout Nation.<\/p>\n

The next Buffy recap is on the way!\u00a0<\/b>Someone recently estimated that at the rate I’m going, it will take fifteen years to finish my recap of the series. But there’s a blogger who has been recapping the\u00a0Left Behind<\/em> series for eleven years, so I don’t feel bad. It’s a labor of love, and well-worth it.<\/p>\n

There are two new chapters of\u00a0The Afflicted<\/em>!\u00a0<\/strong>If you’re new to the blog,\u00a0The Afflicted<\/em> is my free serial on Wattpad. It’s New Adult, but historical, and horror. So instead of the heroine trying to adjust to college, she’s trying to adjust to life in the Shaker community where she’s been abandoned, and spooky things are happening. Chapters thirteen<\/a> and fourteen<\/a> are now available.<\/p>\n

Donations are still being accepted to keep Wolf\u00a0alive!\u00a0<\/strong>Wolf has Crohn’s disease and desperately needs surgery. If you’re in the habit of donating, here’s the link to his campaign.<\/a><\/p>\n

This cat needs help!\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Also along the lines of donations, this cute cat needs spinal surgery.<\/a><\/p>\n

I’m going to be in Las Vegas!\u00a0<\/strong>Come out and meet me at the book signing at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. on Saturday, April 4. If I’m not a big enough draw, well, brace yourselves… Amber Benson, also known as Tara from\u00a0Buffy The\u00a0<\/em>fucking\u00a0Vampire Slayer\u00a0<\/em>will be signing her books.<\/strong> Yeah, she’s an author and basically awesome. So after you go see her, come see me!<\/p>\n
