So, is Lucy so smart because he’s adorably pudgy and therefore loves treats, or is he adorably pudgy because he’s smart and therefore always gets the rewards?
I’ve never seen markings on a rat like Harry’s! Wow! I had a mouse with a star on her forehead (and funnily enough, her name was Lucia, called Lucy), but I’ve never seen a rat with one, and certainly never seen one with a thin blaze like that. So cool!
I have to ask, are they both dumbos? It looks like Lucy is, but is can’t see Harry well enough to tell.
I have another odd question. I remember you saying you deal with chronic pain, right? Do you find it difficult to clean the rat cage? I have fairly severe fibromyalgia along with a spinal issue and some joint problems and the last time I had rats I just could not clean their cage out. Or when I did it would wipe me out for the whole day. My husband had to do it and he’s not overly fond of rats. He mostly did it because he loves me.
I’m just dying to get rats again. It’s been 3 years since my last rat, Clover, died and that’s just too long. But it’s not right to get pets that I can’t take care of and I’m not confident that I can do that.
I love rats! I’ve had them my entire life, and I will always have rats. They are the best pet ever! <:3 )~ (my rat icon)
