I completely overestimated my ability to get work done while my eight-year-old, who has just discovered a karaoke app for her tablet, is on Spring Break. True Blood Tuesday, Big Damn Writer Advice Column, and Buffy is suspended until next week. Pray for me. The forecast calls for rain every day this week. I can’t even send the kids outside.
Hi Jenny, I love that we’re both from Michigan. I’m in Grand Rapids. I understood the whole being in Battle Creek smelling cereal tweet, and the thing about seeing the first robin, and now you and I have the same weather forecast during spring break. I also got pregnant with my son when I only knew his father for a couple of months and when I was rather younger than I would’ve liked but now baby daddy and I are still together after 11 years and married. Plus I agree with everything political you post anywhere, love your books, and am also a writer.
Also love downton abbey, hate fifty shades, watch bob ross and his pthalo blue daily, and my kid is into tae kwon do/karate. Good luck with spring break! I recently had about 7 children running through my house and yard having a Nerf gun fight and I’m still finding nerf bullets in strange places and as far away as several houses down the street. My son attempted to scotch tape a Nerf gun to our dog ‘s back so that the dog could be a part of the fight.
