“I pray Heaven to bestow the best of blessings on this house and all that shall hereafter inhabit it. May none but honest and wise men ever rule under this roof.” –John Adams, writing about the White House.
This 4th of July, I just want to say that I support Bernie Sanders in his run for President of The United States of America, and I think there are a lot of good reasons to. If you’re inclined to check out his campaign, please visit BernieSanders.com.
Happy Independence Day!
Happy 4th from an avid reader and Sanders supporter!
Bernie Sanders just seems to really care about people, but since he’s not accepting crooked election bribes I don’t know if he’ll get recognized enough to have a real shot at being president.
I love Bernie! I lived in New Hampshire and was able to see first hand the good work he did in neighboring Vermont. I’ve always had a high opinion of him, and I’m glad he’s finally running for president. He’ll have quite a fight ahead of him, but I’m sure he’s equal to the challenge and whatever happens, I’m glad more Americans will get to learn what a wonderful person he is.
A day late, but I’m a regular reader and also a Bernie supporter. I think people underestimate him a bit. I’m the stereotypical youngish person who wouldn’t flinch at being given a political label that included the word “socialist,” but I’ve watched Bernie on TV with people of all ages, most of whom consider themselves moderate, and they respond very well to what he had to say. In any case, both him and his message are a refreshing addition to an otherwise somewhat cynical race.
I’m for him as well, and you’re totally correct in your assessment. I think a lot of people of all types of ages, backgrounds, and political leanings are flocking to his message because he’s been the only one to speak up for us – the common people.
I’m totally voting for him in the primary. I’ve been following the guy on Facebook for months before he announced. He’s the only candidate that I like.
