How I set up my bullet journal and manage my time now!

Posted in Uncategorized

I recently started a new way of scheduling my time so that stuff can get done as opposed to sitting around in varying stages of doneness. A few people have asked me productivity-related questions lately so I thought, hell, why not make a video about it while I set up my bullet journal?

(This video just posted this morning, so please give it a little time for Closed Captions to process.)

I’ve been super productive over the last three or so weeks that I’ve been using this method. Fingers crossed that it keeps working. If you try this, let me know how it goes!

I’ve tried to bullet journal, but everything I’ve found so far sets up a monthly, weekly and daily pages and miscellaneous pages and it was overwhelming. This makes so much more sense! Forget the monthly and daily pages and focus on week-by-week. Thank you so much for this!!

This was amazing, thanks Jenny! I’ve tried bullet journalling previous but always ended up down on myself because it didn’t look as neat and pretty as I wanted it. The washi tape is an amazing idea because it looks neat and colourful!

I’ve been bullet journaling since January, and I absolutly love it. It’s the only time something like this has worked long term, and while I also don’t follow the original system I love the fact that it was made by someone with ADHD for people with brains like ours.

  4. I’m setting up the new (academic) year’s bujo even as we speak! Mine end up a hybrid planner-scrapbook, and the last one lasted me a year and a half. But I have a separate one for writing projects.
