THE EX, Coming November 22, 2014

Posted in Uncategorized

You heard right. November 22, 2014. That’s when you’ll have more Neil and Sophie.

the ex

Magazine editor-in-chief, bride-to-be, and soon-to-be-step-grandmother at twenty-six, Sophie Scaife is looking forward to married life with her fiancé and Dom, wickedly sadistic billionaire Neil Elwood. As they enter unexplored sensual territory, Neil leads Sophie to the very edge between pain and pleasure—and she discovers a surprising new side to her sexuality.

While Sophie balances her hectic work routine with her devotion to her unconventional family, Neil has to adjust to life as a retired mogul. With their big day drawing nearer, they have to forge through pre-wedding jitters, personal crises, and an unexpected houseguest to get to their kinky ever after.

But a decades old trauma still haunts Neil. When the private details draw public interest, Sophie learns that the scars of his past are greater than he let on—and he’ll need all of her love to heal them…

As ever, I’m relying on the power of asking to get the word about this book out there to readers. So, I’m asking you guys to share this link, recommend the series, share the cover, anything you’d be cool with helping me out with. I appreciate every bit of the word of mouth you guys send out there.

I’ll have more information about pre-order and paperback release date as it becomes available.

OMG! I just discovered and binge read in a week The Boss, The Girlfriend, The Bride last month, and I was so bummed to see that The Ex wasn’t slated to come out until Spring 2015. I AM SO HAPPY to see the news that you’ve moved up the release date to NEXT MONTH! Yay! Thank you so much 😀 I cannot wait to get my hands on it.

For this, I will interrupt my unstoppable fanfic reading (seriously, I need help). I haven’t even bought the new Outlander book yet, and I love those books. But I will buy this one and read it immediately.

  25. no one has left me any iterations of squeeful joy. I am so fucking stoked for this. I had never read a romance, unless you count slashfic, and i came to read the fifty shades recaps because i thought romance was inherently stupid and problematic, and wanted someone to reinforce my preconceived notions. thank you for proving me wrong.

I have devoured everything you’ve written, but Neil and Sophie have a special place in my heart.

also, is the third sterling brother ever getting some steampunk smut?

He will, and his book is contracted. Since things have exploded for me over the past two years, I just can’t seem to get back on track with those. I’d really like to redo them as full length novels and complete the set.

  31. This really just made my month.

I had resigned myself to waiting [im]patiently for Spring of 2015 for the next installment. The fact that it will be available next month is something that I might actually squee over. Yes, like a little fan-girl. It really might happen. It will be embarrassing, but so worth it.

Also, the title gives me angst, so the fact that it is coming sooner rather than later might mean I escape an ulcer. Fingers crossed!

To borrow a phrase that Sophie hates; in all honesty, I’m so excited for this book. You’ve hooked me with this series from the get-go, and I’ve probably already read each book three times. I think you’re inclined to know that I only made the purchases a month ago, so that’s quite a feat.

As a loyal reader, I will be doing my part to spread the word. The world, or at least my friends, deserve to indulge in this wonderful story.

    Happy writing!

Amazon won’t let you upload the book (and have it pre-orderable) until it’s absolutely finished. So it likely won’t be pre-orderable until Jenny’s finished with last-minute tinkering. Rest assured that you’ll be informed when it’s ready 🙂

Actually, they do let you upload for pre-order without it being finished… but that makes me soooooooooooooo nervous, because you have to upload your manuscript, and what if I get in a car accident or fall down the stairs and the one I’m not done tinkering with gets released?

I need to stop aiming for pre-orders and just cope with the fact that those will never happen, LOL.
