It’s deadline week here at Trout HQ! I’m writing a ridiculous amount of words per day to bring The Boyfriend in on time for a November release, so pardon the sparse updates. Today, I offer you a video of me, super high, trying to play a class I’ve never played before in World Of Warcraft.
Next week, expect a super long Spooky Story Time video about the tour and paranormal lock-in of the Sorrel-Weed House in Savannah, GA that I participated in over the summer.
The long blog drought won’t last forever. Just hopefully until I finish the book at this end of this week. In the meantime, more news! After requests from some blog readers and social media followers, I’ve reopened my Patreon! You can find the details here. All but one of the rewards is digital; physical rewards became overwhelming and caused me to stop doing the thing altogether. This part is important: if you were a Patron before and you didn’t un-patronize me (is that a thing?) you might find yourself getting charged now that it’s open again. If you no longer want to support me via Patreon, be sure you go cancel your monthly donation. I don’t want to surprise steal from you.
I’m going back into the writey-hole. Please throw stroopwaffles and coffee down to me at regular intervals.
Please make sure the coffee is in a container of some kind.
Hey there,
I’ll start by saying I’m a fan. Love your “blood ties” series. Just picked it up again to re-read for the 4th pr 5th time.
Something that bugs me though is the timeline error… you wrote in the second book that its been 2 months since Carrie’s turning, but later on she has apparently been sleeping with Nathan for 2 years?? And after the initial change of 2 months to 2 years, it Carrie’s on.
Just wondering if I somehow missed that giant leap through time or if that was an overlooked typo?
That’s all, carry on then. 🙂
Ugh, I made typos. OCD must correct….
1. I’m reading again for the 4th OR 5th time
2. It carries on. Like, continues…. Not the character Carrie….
Bah
YES! There is an explanation. My editors changed halfway through the editing of the book. The first editor and I batted around both two months and two years during the revisions process. We ultimately settled on two years, but the second editor and my agent both agreed that two months worked better. At that point, we’d all been moving ahead with the two years version so long, we accidentally missed that reference, which should have been replaced with two months.
I love the let’s play videos, especially the Sims. Have you thought about doing a Twitch steam? I think that would be amazing.
Omg Jenny this was hilarious. Brenda. The guy with his own personal wind. Your excitement over your mount. I do wish I could see your reaction to working out double jumping and gliding. You should definitely post more wow videos.
I just had to say I love your makeup and nails!
